The Senior/Regional Tax Manager is responsible for leading all APAC (including India holding entities) tax strategies, planning, compliance, and risk management across the region. This role ensures the organization meets statutory requirements, optimizes tax positions, manages transfer pricing, and provides strategic tax guidance to business leaders. The position partners closely with Project team, Legal, Corporate Tax, and external advisors to support business growth, M&A, and cross‑border structuring initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute regional tax strategies aligned with global tax policies and business objectives
Identify tax optimization opportunities while ensuring compliance with local regulations
Assess tax implications of business initiatives, investments, and cross‑border transactions
Oversee timely and accurate filing of all direct and indirect tax returns (corporate income tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
Ensure tax accounting accuracy for month‑end and year‑end close in accordance with IFRS/US GAAP
Manage regional tax audits and inquiries, coordinating with authorities and external advisors as needed
Lead transfer pricing strategy and documentation for the region
Ensure alignment with global TP policies, including intercompany agreements, benchmarking, and annual filings
Support TP planning for transactions, financing, and restructuring initiatives
Support tax risk management and governance initiatives, including implementation of tax control frameworks
Provide tax provisions, deferred tax and forecast to accounting and FP&A team
Develop and maintain tax policies and procedures for APAC
Drive automation and efficiency in tax reporting and compliance processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
Master’s in Tax, CA/CPA, or equivalent preferred
10–15+ years of progressive regional or global tax experience, ideally within multinational corporations and Big 4 firms
Strong technical expertise in direct/indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and international tax principles (OECD, BEPS, Pillar Two)
Experience managing tax operations across multiple jurisdictions
Proven track record leading tax audits and dealing with tax authorities
