Job Description

We're recruiting an experienced Regional Soft Services Manager with a strong security background to lead Security, Cleaning, and Catering operations across a large, multi-site national contract overseeing the North of the UK. This is a security-led role, where robust, compliant security delivery is critical to contract success. Alongside this, you will provide senior-level oversight of cleaning and catering services, ensuring all service lines operate cohesively, safely, and to the highest standards. You'll be a key, client-facing leader with responsibility for operational performance, compliance, team leadership, and continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead multi-site security teams, ensuring effective supervision, incident management, and consistently high standards of service delivery
  • Maintain full compliance with SIA legislation, licence requirements, site assignment instructions, and all security-related regulations
  • Act as senior escalation point for security incidents, investigations, audits, and corrective actions
  • Oversee cleaning services across the region, ensuring contractual KPIs, audits, and quality standards are consistently achieved
  • Provide operational oversight of catering services, working closely with site managers to ensure safe, compliant, and commercially sound food service delivery
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and financial performance across security, cleaning, and catering services
  • Build strong, credible relationships with clients, leading security-led conversations while confidently discussing all service lines
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, staffing models, and service delivery across all operations
  • Contribute to contract retention, service extensions, and bid support, with strong input into security-led service solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in an Area / Regional role managing soft services
  • Strong, demonstrable experience managing security services (essential)
  • Proven experience overseeing cleaning operations across multiple sites
  • Experience providing operational oversight of catering services within a contract or multi-service environment
  • In-depth knowledge of SIA compliance, security risk management, and operational best practice
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and contract performance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Non-Frontline SIA Licence (current or previously held)
  • IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualification (or working towards)
