Job Description:

This individual will be responsible for the leadership of Baxter’s Global Business Solutions shared service centers in the Americas region. The role will have direct oversight of the service delivery teams at the regional centers including the accounts payable, credit, collections, accounts receivable and other services provided by GBS. The role will be responsible for GBS scope expansion in the region, ensuring services meet process policies, controls, service levels for speed, accuracy and quality. The individual also has oversight of outsourced processes should processes be outsourced to a service provider in the future. The individual will also be responsible for the shared service sites and providing oversight and support to the teams hosted at the shared service centers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer the operations of Baxter’s captive shared service centers supporting the Americas
  • Lead the operations of Baxter’s accounts payable, credit, collections, accounts receivable and other services provided by GBS including relationship management with an outsourced service provider and business unit stakeholders
  • Deliver year over year productivity savings across the centers and drive cost-savings initiatives and working capital (DPO and DSO) improvements, working cross-functionally with other leaders in finance and procurement
  • Drive compliance with internal controls performed by operational finance functions
  • Build strong teams through motivation, direction, holding individuals accountable and providing challenging work

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Concentration in Finance is desirable
  • MBA, CPA, and/or Six Sigma Certification is desirable
  • Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications
  • Experience managing shared service centers, BPO and operational teams globally
  • Experience driving process reengineering and automation initiatives
  • Flexibility for international travel
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines
  • Proven leadership, management and motivational skills
  • Strong business acumen and judgment as well as understanding of relevant business environment
  • Ability to effectively influence and drive consensus with diverse stakeholders
