This role reports directly to the CEO Europe. You are responsible for the implementation & management of the Regional Security strategy, standards and guidelines. You ensure the alignment with the Group directives. You identify, develop and implement protection and security processes across Europe to reduce security related risks, respond to incidents and limit exposure to liability in all areas related to physical security. You are responsible for the management of Europe insurance portfolio in accordance with the Audemars Piguet Group policies. You collaborate with cross-functional teams with HQ (including IT, HR, legal, retail, infrastructure, insurance, and risk) to ensure alignment and integration of security initiatives in line with the AP security standards and procedures
Job Responsibility:
Supervise site validation processes (visits, reports, safety recommendations) and monitor construction and renovation projects
Define security specifications for each project in collaboration with the insurer
Design and implement security systems (CCTV, alarms, safes) and oversee the secure transport and storage of valuables
Ensure only approved and audited carriers are used for transporting and storing valuables, and conduct regular audits of providers
Manage guarding services: selection and approval of guards, performance oversight, coordination with boutiques, and promotion of reputable international providers
Lead incident management: reporting, investigations, police cooperation, insurance claims, recommendations, and preventive measures
Provide security training (onboarding, annual refreshers, Group directives, local procedures) and train boutique guards and employees
Build and maintain external networks with police, emergency services, industry peers, and manage insurance reporting and compliance with HQ guidelines
Act as deputy crisis coordinator and validate or design security concepts for major events, exhibitions, and European functions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus)
Minimun 10 years of experience in corporate security, loss prevention, or risk management—preferably within luxury, premium retail, jewelry, or high‑value goods sectors
Proven expertise in security system management, including CCTV design, alarm systems, access control, and technical integration
Strong experience in high‑value assets protection, including secure transportation, supplier audits, and coordination with specialized carriers
Demonstrated ability to oversee construction or renovation projects involving boutiques or sensitive sites
Experience managing guarding providers, including selection, training, and operational supervision of on‑site security teams
Solid background in incident investigations, reporting, and collaboration with police and insurance partners
Ability to build and maintain a professional network with law enforcement, emergency services, and peers within the luxury industry
Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to coach retail teams and lead regional safety & security programs
