Job Description:

Optegra has an exciting new job opportunity for an experienced Scrub Nurse to join our amazing and dedicated regional team on a part time basis 3 days per week 27.5h. This role covers four hospitals across the region – Birmingham, Uttoxeter, Nottingham, and Leicester, and requires regular travel between sites. Job Responsibility:

  • To promote a sensitive, responsive and caring approach to all patients, visitors and colleagues within the hospital environment
  • To be responsible for the delivery of high quality, safe and effective patient care throughout the patients’ visit to Optegra
  • To work in a manner that also ensures maximum efficiency, effective utilisation of resources and the seamless delivery of support to Consultants / Surgeons.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with 1st level NMC registration
  • ODP Level 3 NVQ in Operating Department Practice or equivalent
  • ODA City and Guilds 752
  • Previous experience in Theatres, General Surgery, or Outpatients.
