Job Description

My client is a manufacturer of engineered products and systems that support the safe and efficient movement, control, and management of liquids across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and deliver regional sales performance across the Midlands, focusing on End User business within the industrial market
  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy in line with company objectives, driving revenue and margin growth
  • Identify and secure new business and project opportunities
  • Manage key customer and distributor relationships
  • Act as the primary link between the company and its customers
  • Monitor pricing and profitability
  • Lead negotiations and tender submissions
  • Forecast regional performance
  • Ensure accurate CRM reporting
  • Work closely with internal teams to achieve commercial objectives

Requirements

  • Proven track record in regional or national sales management
  • Experience managing key accounts, distributors and customer relationships
  • Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts and performance metrics
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capability
  • Working knowledge of technical or engineering products and terminology
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales reporting tools
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of End User customers, ideally within the industrial sector
  • Experience in Valves, Instrumentation or Fluid Transport
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and product specifications
  • Experience working within high performing sales team
  • Tender management and rebate negotiation experience
  • Broader understanding of competitor landscape and market trends
