The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to the retail team in their assigned territory. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the Regional Director and account team, in the successful execution of business plans and strategic alignment in their assigned geographic territory. The Regional Sales Managers will define and deliver on account needs, ensuring top-notch customer service and schedule compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Provide leadership and supervision to the retail team in their assigned territory
Support the Regional Director and account team in the successful execution of business plans and strategic alignment
Define and deliver on account needs, ensuring top-notch customer service and schedule compliance
Review service schedules and territories, recommending improvements and optimization
Oversees inventory management by optimizing opportunity with in-stock conditions
Define, communicate, and execute goals for the assigned sales areas
Coach, counsel, train, and evaluate job performance of employees
Manage business through sales growth & KPD
manages budgets for the assigned sales area, including third-party labor management
Communicates and collaborates with other KeHE functional areas to meet all company objectives
Direct the activities of the retail team in the assigned sales area
Recommend and implement change in staffing requirements and assist in the selection process
Ensure all KPDs, sales targets, and contribution margins are met
Cultivates and maintains an effective working relationship with both store management and our vendor partners
Travel required as needed for route coverage, meetings, tabletops, Food Shows & other KeHE events
Ensure that established company policies and procedures are followed
Observe all safety procedures and policies as outlined by the company’s Safety Policy
Maintain safeguards of confidential company information
Ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Regional Director and leadership team
Requirements:
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the grocery industry
Three years in a supervisory or management role within industry
Working knowledge of and literacy in computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Ability and willingness to travel as needed
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including some weekends
