Job Responsibility
Drive market share growth for a portfolio of orthopedic infection management medical devices within the assigned territory: (WI, IL, IN, OH, KY, WV, MI, PA, NY, VT, ME, NH, MA, CT, RI, NJ, DE, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, TN, FL)
Build strong relationships with key clinical and economic decision‑makers through on‑site visits and proactive outreach
Manage all leads, accounts, and opportunities across the territory while maintaining accurate CRM data
Deliver in‑person clinical education, product demonstrations, and ongoing support to surgeons, OR staff, and hospital teams
Ensure efficient ordering processes for both new and existing accounts, while maximizing account penetration by promoting the full product portfolio across infection prevention, joint reconstruction, and trauma applications
Partner closely with sales, marketing, clinical, and customer support teams to enhance the customer experience and drive seamless product adoption
Gather, analyze, and present field intelligence—including sales trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback—to inform territory strategy and execution
Champion the regional sales strategy and develop a comprehensive business plan to drive growth across our orthopedic product lines
Provide training, mentorship, and product expertise to sales representatives and agents, supporting both product-specific competencies and broader organizational initiatives
Oversee and coordinate activities across multiple territories, ensuring alignment, performance, and effective support for all associated sales representatives and agents
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field required
advanced degree (Master’s preferred) is a plus
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the medical device industry, with a proven track record in orthopedic sales or other clinically intensive specialties
Prior experience managing or mentoring direct reports or sales agents preferred
Strong sales background with consistent performance results and the ability to quickly master a technically complex orthopedic product portfolio
Highly motivated, self‑directed, and skilled in independent territory management
Formal sales training and demonstrated success in medical device sales required
