As a Title, your role will focus on supporting the execution of the company’s sales strategy within a designated region in Australia and New Zealand. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, managing key accounts, and driving growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets. The Regional Sales Manager (north) will collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Provide targeted coaching and development plans for the regional sales team as required across ANZ
Execution of the company’s sales strategy within a designated region in Australia and New Zealand
Managing and providing support to direct reports in Australia and New Zealand
Work closely with the Head of Sales to handling enquiries, responding to tenders, ensure Fresenius Medical Care complies to submissions according to given deadlines, develop proposals, negotiate deals, and close sales opportunities
Assist in managing and expanding the customer base within the assigned region, identifying growth opportunities
Collaborate, support and work with the Critical Care business to drive cross-selling opportunities
Implement and execute sales strategies to achieve regional targets, both in terms of revenue and market share withing existing and new business
Ensure the identification individual learning needs of clients in consultation with Clinical Sales and account managers to support individual learning
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including nephrologists, clinicians, renal nurses, hospital administrators, and procurement teams
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to drive brand awareness and product adoption
Work closely with internal support teams - Technical Service, Customer Service, Supply Chain to achieve given objectives
Actively participate in ANZ S&OP to accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly product inventory in partnership with Supply Chain, Marketing
Develop awareness for competitive intelligence in market
Support the use of and ensure teams proficiency in utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical services, supply chain, and customer support customer needs
Prepare and analyze Sales MIS and sales reports to track performance and business insights
Plan, conduct, and participate in business review meetings with key stakeholders
Take ownership of end-to-end account management, working closely with CS, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and SCM. Tenders and tender reports
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency in clinical and sales activities
Where appropriate, become involved in FME activities including attendance at staff meetings and involvement in company events (e.g., RSA)
Conduct needs analysis and partner with internal stakeholders for solutions providing teams with subsequent training
Provide staff with training to upskill employees
Conduct regular performance evaluation, provide constructive feedback, and implement development plans to enhance team members’ skills and capabilities
Stay updated on industry trends, clinical guidelines, and competitor activities to ensure the team remains informed and competitive
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Complete ADHOC tasks as required
Requirements:
7-10 years of experience in sales, preferably within a related industry (either Pharmaceuticals or Medical Devices)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Strategic and analytical thinker with professional and positive disposition
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proven ability in supporting change management across an organization
Demonstrated commercial and clinical acumen
Able to foster relationships with cross functional partners
Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably within the healthcare industry (Desirable)
