Job Description

This Australia based position is responsible for leading regional sales activity across the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia & Mongolia regions for DTC's portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President – MEA & APAC, the role is focused on driving sustained business growth across Defence, government, and public safety markets throughout the region. The Regional Sales Manager will engage directly with Defence customers, end users, integrators, and industry partners to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and manage complex opportunities through the full sales lifecycle. Working closely with engineering, product management, and commercial teams, the role requires technical product familiarity to effectively position system capabilities and align customer requirements with the right solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies across Defence, government, and public safety markets
  • Drive revenue growth, order intake, pipeline development, and forecast accuracy
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with Defence customers, prime contractors, and industry partners
  • Lead complex technical and commercial sales engagements from qualification through to contract execution
  • Provide accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and market intelligence through Salesforce and internal reporting systems
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, and product management teams to support customer outcomes
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, technology trends, and competitive positioning strategies
  • Ensure compliance with export controls, governance frameworks, and company policies

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience within Defence, tactical communications, surveillance, wireless communications, or related technology environments
  • ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and customers across complex technical and commercial discussions within international markets
