Job Description

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager – DSD to lead field execution and distributor performance across a multi-state territory. This role will be responsible for driving case sales, increasing brand visibility, and building strong distributor and retail partnerships. This is a field-based leadership role requiring hands-on involvement in retail execution, team development, and distributor accountability.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and execute regional business plans that align with national strategies and goals
  • Develop and manage a high-performing distributor network to drive sales volume and retail excellence
  • Hold DSD partners accountable through performance tracking, sales targets, and regular business reviews
  • Strengthen retailer relationships by delivering value-added support, insights, and activation plans
  • Partner with field marketing to execute events, retail programs, and brand activations that grow awareness and trial
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess execution, identify opportunities, and ensure brand standards are upheld
  • Analyze sales data to track performance, create forecasts, and generate actionable insights for leadership
  • Support the launch of innovation with sales forecasting, distributor education, and in-market retail support
  • Lead training, development, and performance management for field sales team members
  • Manage regional budgets and oversee program execution in compliance with company standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 6+ years of sales experience in the beverage or CPG industry, including people management and DSD distribution leadership
  • Strong understanding of retail execution, merchandising, and route-to-market strategies
  • Proven ability to drive results through distributor engagement, retail partnerships, and sales team leadership
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data and make insight-driven decisions
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
  • A passion for wellness, performance-driven brands, and field-based sales execution
