Job Description:

Regional Sales Director – South East. This is a senior, high-impact role with full accountability for sales performance, distribution growth, and most critically the leadership and development of a large, field-based sales organization operating across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader who thrives in the field, builds high-performing teams, and knows how to translate strategy into execution through people.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large, field-based sales team across multiple states
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and results
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and evaluate sales talent to ensure strong bench strength
  • Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and development plans for all sales leaders and representatives
  • Foster a safe, compliant, and inclusive working environment
  • Own regional sales, gross profit, and distribution targets
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies aligned to regional and company objectives
  • Drive new business development, channel expansion, and market penetration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience leading sales teams, ideally within food, beverage, or FMCG distribution
  • Proven success managing large, multi-state, field-based sales teams
  • Strong relationships within regional retail chains, independents, and wholesalers
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth, expand distribution, and improve profitability
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

  • Lead a team of territory-based Enterprise Account Executives in the pursuit of generating revenue with new and existing business, creating and managing pipeline, executing on account strategies, and managing customer satisfaction
  • Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual revenue targets that align with and contribute to the organization's overall revenue goals
  • Lead from the front by continual support and development of the sales team
  • Have a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and be ready to support your Enterprise Account Executives in the field
  • Oversee and manage individual targets that contribute to the overall team and company success. Drive enterprise reps to penetrate new, untapped markets with greenfield accounts and achieve a quarterly quota of at least 1 qualified net new logo per quarter and hit revenue targets

  • Support and manage Enterprise Account Executives in shaping their customer acquisition strategy
