As a market leading global brand, the team of Regional Sales Engineers, Managers, Channel Partners and Distributors play a pivotal role in maintaining their edge and require an exceptional Senior Sales Manager to focus the team at a time of expansion and innovation in safety critical products. Based in Nottingham at the manufacturing facility, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary SMT, leading the domestic and international sales activity for multiple markets. They produce, sell and distribute static control solutions designed to mitigate the accumulation of static electricity on plant equipment used in hazardous locations. The Regional Sales & Business Development Manager is a newly created, strategic role focussed on BDM in Europe, Middle East, India and Asia Pacific. Responsible for high level networking across EMEAI, developing strategic partnerships at nomination/specification phase, managing the sales of the entire product portfolio and identifying opportunities for the global business, you will also lead a team of UK and international salespeople and distributors.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent or qualified by experience able to demonstrate strong logic, written and numerical skills
  • 10+ years of technical commercial experience in business development, international sales, channel management preferably within a distributor-driven market, export and domestic
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, technology, or related sectors ideally within EX Industries but not essential as product training will be given
  • A hunter, with a strategic mindset, with the ability to network and open doors at a high level with the aim of building partnerships
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales teams and expanding distributor networks to achieve even greater revenue and margins
  • Results focused, strong negotiation, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse data, forecast effectively and make strategic decisions for the good of the business
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Must enjoy international travel, be able to work through different time zones and ultimately be passionate about your chosen career in Sales Management
