Job Description:

Regional Relief HGV Driver - Class 2 - Based at Cardiff, CF10 4SF - Covering the following Branches: Cardiff South, Cardiff Heath, Barry, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Rhondda. Sociable hours: 7am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings 8am to 12 Midday. No evenings or overnights. Drive Your HGV Career Forward with Travis Perkins - HIAB training provided!

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering building materials from branches to local customers
  • Ensuring safety and legality of loads
  • Loading vehicle with HIAB
  • Making around 14 drops per day
  • Returning to branch to reload when needed
  • Building and developing customer relationships

Requirements:

  • Class 2 driving license
  • Up-to-date CPC records
  • Category B license held for 12+ months
  • HIAB experience (or willingness to be trained)
  • Customer-focused
  • Safety-focused
