Job Description

Regional Quality Lead – Luxury Elderly Residential & Dementia Care. Compass Associates are supporting an established elderly care provider in the appointment of a Quality Lead (North) to oversee quality, governance and compliance across a portfolio of 11 residential and dementia care homes throughout the northern region.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct quality assurance inspections and governance reviews across multiple services
  • Assess compliance against CQC regulations, internal policies and quality standards
  • Validate service self-assessments and monitor quality improvement plans
  • Identify governance, quality and compliance risks before they impact service delivery
  • Analyse quality indicators and performance trends to support continuous improvement
  • Coach and support Home Managers and operational teams to improve standards
  • Monitor progress against agreed improvement actions and governance objectives
  • Escalate quality concerns through appropriate governance channels where required
  • Contribute to regional audits, reporting and wider quality improvement initiatives
  • Support the continued development of governance frameworks across the organisation

Requirements

  • Previous experience within elderly residential and/or dementia care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance and quality assurance processes
  • Experience undertaking audits, inspections and compliance reviews
  • A proven track record of identifying quality risks and implementing sustainable improvements
  • Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting quality and performance data
  • Ability to travel extensively across the region
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Nursing qualification is not essential
