Job Description

Compass Associates is collaborating with a Children’s Care and Specialist Education provider to find a Regional Psychologist. The role involves working with children and young people with complex needs such as Learning Disabilities and Autism, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, or have experienced trauma and CSE, across a portfolio of Residential Services, Specialist Schools, Health and Activity Centres, and Therapy services.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing direct clinical work, assessment, supervision and training across a designated caseload of children’s homes
  • Collaborating with a friendly therapeutic team composed of Therapists (composed of other Psychologists, SALTs, OTs, Creative Arts), Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Psychologists

Requirements

  • HCPC Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, Educational and Forensic)
  • Experience of working within a Children’s setting such as within Education, Residential or CAMHS
