The role will be part of the One Public Estate (OPE) programme, which acts as a catalyst for transforming places. Cross-public sector collaboration realises smaller, better, greener, and more efficient public property that drives local growth, unlocks land for homes, reduces inequalities, and improves public services - enabling communities to thrive. The OPE programme operates in a matrix environment of the LGA with the Office of Government Property (OGP) and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) as key sponsors, so matrix working and political sensitivity is essential.
