Job Description

The Regional President serves as the senior executive leader for one of our client’s four geographic regions, operating it as a fully accountable business unit within the company’s structure. This role is responsible for the overall P&L, strategic direction, and operational performance of the region across both service lines — Construction/Installation and Maintenance. The Regional President leads all aspects of business development, operations, safety, finance, and people management within the region, ensuring alignment with the company’s national strategy while driving regional results.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary leader and decision-maker for the region, accountable for meeting financial, operational, and strategic goals
  • Develop and execute the regional business plan in alignment with corporate objectives and the company vision
  • Foster a performance-driven culture based on accountability, measurable results, and continuous improvement
  • Own the regional P&L, delivering revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and margin targets
  • Manage cash proactively to ensure positive free cash flow, including overseeing billing, collections, and working capital efficiency
  • Oversee all project delivery, from estimating and scheduling to execution and closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability
  • Drive operational excellence through consistent use of company systems (HCSS, Prophix, Spectrum, Salesforce) and standardized processes
  • Lead regional sales and business development efforts, building relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for organic growth in both service lines
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional leadership, including service line leaders, operations managers, and functional managers
  • Build a culture of collaboration, safety, and results, treating field managers and frontline supervisors as key leaders
  • Ensure the region attracts, retains, and develops top talent at all levels
  • Champion the company’s safety culture, ensuring full compliance with all safety protocols, regulations, and quality standards
  • Promote proactive risk management and accountability across all levels of the region
  • Operate as part of the national Executive Leadership Team, collaborating with other Regional Presidents and Corporate Shared Services
  • Ensure regional execution aligns with the company’s integrated systems, shared resources, and overall brand identity

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a senior P&L leader in construction, infrastructure, utility services, or a related industry
  • Experience leading multi-site, multi-service operations with revenues exceeding $40M+
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and cash flow optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational excellence and safety programs
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people development skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • MBA preferred
