Job Description:

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the strategic growth, operational excellence, and market expansion of JLL's Data Center business in APAC. This position serves as the primary business leader for all Data Center-related services and client relationships, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive real estate solutions to Data Center operators, hyperscale cloud providers, colocation companies, and enterprise clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute APAC Data Center vertical strategy aligned with JLL's global strategy and objectives
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic business development, articulating integrated value propositions and identifying expansion opportunities
  • Identify market opportunities and emerging trends in the Data Center sector. Lead RFP processes in collaboration with Solutions Development teams, ensuring competitive positioning and winning proposals
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders. Serve as the primary trusted advisor and strategic partner, maintaining regular executive-level touchpoints and relationship reviews
  • Lead market intelligence gathering and competitive analysis. Build deep institutional knowledge of client objectives and develop client engagement strategies that strengthen relationships across all organizational levels
  • Own P&L responsibility for the vertical, managing profitability and margin optimization, financial forecasts, growth targets, and expansion strategies
  • Manage growth pipeline and accurate revenue forecasting across the vertical
  • Continuously analyze performance metrics and implement optimization strategies to maximize profitability and operational efficiency
  • Drive commercial excellence by identifying cost-saving opportunities, revenue enhancement initiatives, and margin improvement tactics
  • Serve as primary relationship owner for key regional Data Center accounts
  • Ensure exceptional client service delivery and satisfaction
  • Develop deep understanding of client business needs and market challenges
  • Present to C-level executives and decision makers
  • Manage complex, multi-market transactions and assignments
  • Lead, develop and retain a high-performing Data Center team in APAC
  • Recruit top-tier talent to support business growth objectives, while creating succession plans for critical roles

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of executive leadership in Commercial Real Estate, with specific experience in integrated service delivery across multiple disciplines
  • 7+ years of experience specifically in Data Center real estate or related technology infrastructure. Experience with hyperscale cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in strategic selling, RFP leadership, and driving revenue growth. Experience managing large, complex real estate transactions
  • Experience managing account profitability, pricing strategies, and financial performance
  • Strong background in contract negotiation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
  • Leadership experience leading large regional teams in both hybrid and client environments
  • Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Deep understanding of data center real estate fundamentals. Knowledge of hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center markets. Understanding of cloud computing trends and their real estate implications
