Job Description:

We are supporting a Global Technology Company that builds tools helping businesses connect with customers and grow through messaging and digital commerce across widely used apps. They are looking for an experienced Regional Partner Manager (Messaging & Commerce) to support two regional partnership portfolios. Business Messaging across the Greater China Region (GCR) and Commerce partnerships in Japan. This is an initial contract role with potential for extension or conversion depending on business needs & performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support regional Partner Managers in executing go-to-market plans with priority partners
  • Enable partners through onboarding, training, and product education (including API-based solutions)
  • Track pipelines, milestones, and partner action plans to ensure strong follow-through
  • Manage partner issues and escalations by working with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Identify growth opportunities within the messaging and commerce ecosystem
  • Gather partner and market insights and translate them into clear internal recommendations
  • Support partnership operations such as programs, incentives, and launch coordination

Requirements:

  • Experience in partnerships, business development, or partner management within tech ecosystems (e.g. messaging, SaaS, platforms, APIs, commerce, ad tech)
  • Strong execution skills: planning, tracking, and stakeholder coordination
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally to resolve issues and move initiatives forward
  • Able to analyze data, spot trends, and turn insights into action
  • Highly organized, proactive, and clear in communication
  • Business-level Mandarin and Japanese
  • Familiarity with GCR messaging and/or Japan commerce landscapes is a strong advantage
