Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Operations Lead to join our Mobile Engineering Services team in India. This role is critical in driving operational excellence across multiple lines of business while implementing best practices and processes within the Mobile Technical Services (MTS) governance framework. The successful candidate will lead regional operations, manage P&L responsibility, and build strategic relationships with clients and partners across the region.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage Operations team across the region, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Drive operational excellence across various lines of business within the MTS framework
  • Implement standardized processes and best practices to optimize service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage regional P&L with close monitoring of key financial metrics critical to regional success
  • Develop and execute budget planning and cost optimization strategies
  • Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management
  • Build long-term, sustainable relationships with clients, Account Management teams, and Service Partners across all lines of business
  • Work closely with platform teams of MTS to create a cohesive work environment within the region
  • Collaborate with Line of Business Leaders to ensure implementation of key regional priorities
  • Partner with clients to understand their evolving needs and maintain strong relationships
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and leadership capabilities
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Support talent acquisition and retention strategies for the regional team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in service/operations management, preferably from HVAC, Electrical Systems, or Fire & Safety (FAS) system companies/OEMs
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing operations teams
  • Proven track record of maintaining operational excellence across multiple client portfolios
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies

Nice to have

  • Industry experience from HVAC, Electrical Systems, or FAS system companies/OEMs
  • Facilities Management (FM) industry experience will be an added advantage
  • Professional certifications in operations management or relevant technical fields
  • Experience in multi-site operations management
  • Knowledge of Indian regulatory requirements for technical services
