Job Description

Regional Operations Manager required for a growing Cleaning and Facilities Management provider. Compass Associates are working on behalf of an established facilities management provider to recruit a Regional Operations Manager to support the growth of cleaning and soft FM services across the North East and wider North of England. This is a newly created role suited to someone from a Cleaning, Soft FM, Facilities Management, Contract Management or Operations Management background who is confident managing contracts, mobilising new services and building strong client relationships. The role will focus on developing cleaning and facilities management operations across the region, supporting new business opportunities, assisting with tender processes and ensuring newly awarded contracts are mobilised and delivered successfully.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing and supporting multi-site cleaning and facilities management contracts
  • Identifying and developing new regional business opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with public sector, NHS, education, local authority and private sector clients
  • Supporting tender processes with operational input and local market knowledge
  • Working with internal bid, HR, recruitment and health & safety teams
  • Leading mobilisation of newly awarded cleaning/FM contracts
  • Recruiting and structuring operational teams as contracts go live
  • Implementing KPIs, service standards and compliance processes
  • Managing early-stage contract performance and service delivery
  • Ensuring client satisfaction and resolving operational issues
  • Supporting account growth and long-term regional development
  • Providing market insight to support the wider growth strategy
