Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Operating Manager to lead and manage the operation of a region of Hartford Care homes, through the line management of the Care Home managers. You will ensure that the Care Homes operate within the strategic direction, goals, objectives and financial planning set by Hartford Care. You'll embody the Hartford Care values and be a role model for the leadership behaviours of the organisation.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Relevant professional qualification
  • Previous management experience within a nursing and residential home environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate large teams
  • Strong understanding of the Fundamental Standards and the Care Act
  • Experience supporting residents with nursing needs and those living with dementia
  • Excellent written, verbal, and IT skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Flexible approach to working hours

  • Serve as the main point of contact to establish and cultivate relationships with the owners of AvantStay properties by effectively communicating with them, reviewing their owner distribution statements, and keeping them apprised of the status of their property
  • Supervise the progress and rectification of guest and/or homeowner issues and escalations, ensuring they are resolved within the designated time frame
  • Monitor the quality of the resolution and taking appropriate actions as needed to ensure guest and homeowner satisfaction
  • Supervise and coordinate housekeeping or routine vacation rental maintenance tasks, such as changing linens, moving furniture, changing light bulbs, troubleshooting cable, or addressing wifi issues
  • Collaborate with other teams on evaluating maintenance, groundskeeping, and housekeeping operations at each property within your markets
  • Carry out essential administrative duties to support daily operations and assign tasks to team members as necessary
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with AvantStay standards and regulations, as necessary, if market staff are unavailable
  • Being part of rotating "On Call" after hours for market support
