Job Description

Lead transformational occupancy excellence as a Regional Occupancy Planning Manager with JLL, where you'll oversee occupancy planning within a specific region while managing a high-performing team of occupancy planners as a key player in redefining space and ensuring alignment with overarching workplace strategy adapted to unique regional requirements. You'll serve as primary regional client contact addressing immediate space needs, proactively identifying future requirements, and facilitating cross-regional collaboration to share best practices while reporting to the Workplace Experience Director. This role positions you as a strategic leader in regional workplace optimization, where your expertise in team leadership, advanced space planning, and stakeholder engagement will directly impact organizational success and client satisfaction. Your leadership will contribute to JLL's occupancy planning excellence while you lead complex occupancy solutions including large-scale restacks, consolidations, and expansion projects, develop comprehensive reporting frameworks, and demonstrate strong executive presence when engaging with senior leadership and high-level clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and mentor team of Senior Occupancy Planners and Occupancy Planners fostering culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and growth mindset while providing strategic direction and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with Workplace Experience Director, Regional Occupancy Planning leads, and client stakeholders developing and implementing innovative strategies while overseeing multiple projects ensuring timely delivery and organizational alignment
  • Lead development of complex occupancy solutions including large-scale restacks, consolidations, and expansion projects while overseeing creation of sophisticated occupancy models and forecasts integrating business requirements and projected demand
  • Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks providing actionable insights to leadership and client stakeholders, analyze occupancy data producing regional forecasts, and oversee data integrity across multiple systems
  • Serve as primary regional client contact addressing immediate space needs while proactively identifying future requirements and demonstrating strong executive presence in senior leadership engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field with 10+ years of experience in occupancy planning, workplace strategy, or corporate real estate including at least 5 years in management role
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with experience managing high-performing teams, fostering innovation, and driving continuous improvement in collaborative environments
  • Advanced understanding of workplace strategy and design principles particularly in hybrid work environments with proven ability to develop complex occupancy solutions and sophisticated forecasting models
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences while demonstrating strong executive presence and credibility with senior leadership
  • Advanced proficiency in CAFM/IWMS systems, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data analysis tools with capability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills with proven ability to oversee multiple projects ensuring timely delivery while adapting to frequent changes and shifting priorities
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service with experience in change management, executive engagement, and building strong stakeholder relationships across organizational levels

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Architecture, or related field with advanced understanding of corporate real estate strategy and workplace transformation initiatives
