Job Description:

The Regional Network Manager in Allianz Technology Malaysia, Regional Delivery Center (RDC) is responsible for managing and optimizing the network infrastructure within a designated region. This role involves leading a team of network engineers and technicians, ensuring high availability and performance of network services, and aligning network operations with the organization's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, commitment to delivering exceptional network services and collaborate closely with customers together with cross-functional teams to align network strategy with business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure within the region
Ensure network reliability, performance, and security across all sites
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers and technicians
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
Collaborate with internal senior management & customers’ stakeholder to develop and implement network strategies that support business objectives
Identify opportunities for network improvements and innovations
Manage network projects from conception through implementation
Develop and execute a network transformation strategy aligned with business objectives
Conduct assessments of current network infrastructure and identify areas for improvement
Research and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance network capabilities
Develop business case & drive adoption
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand and address network needs
Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
Develop and manage the network budget for the region
Allocate resources effectively to meet operational and project requirements
Track and report on financial performance and cost-effectiveness
Ensure network operations comply with group standards and respective Operating Entity (OE) local regulatory requirements
Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect data and infrastructure
Stay informed about emerging threats and technologies
Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Work with global teams to manage and deliver globally managed services
Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment and consistency in service delivery
