Job Description:

The Regional Manager, Medical Staff Services oversees credentialing operations across multiple facilities within Hillcrest Health Systems. This role leads credentialing staff, ensures regulatory readiness, and partners with facility leadership and medical staff leaders to support compliant, efficient medical staff operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage day-to-day credentialing operations and workflow across assigned facilities
  • Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws, policies, and regulatory standards
  • Review provider files for completeness and resolve complex credentialing issues
  • Track licensure, certifications, training, and experience requirements
  • Serve as liaison between facility leadership, medical staff leaders, and provider groups
  • Support survey readiness and participate in regulatory activities
  • Develop and improve processes, monitor trends, and support operational performance
  • Educate stakeholders on credentialing requirements and medical staff governance
  • Assist with staffing, performance management, and team development

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree
  • 3 years of experience in medical staff services and credentialing
  • 3 years in a medical staff management role
  • CPCS or CPMSM completed or in progress to complete
