Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, this role will drive the Marketing development and execution in selected key territories and will focus on developing the Valvoline brand in those territories, building first-class 360-degrees knowledge of those territories, supporting the various direct and indirect sales channels. In this role you work closely with the marketing platform teams as well as with the sales organization and other regional marketing specialists.

Job Responsibility

  • Full responsibility for in-market execution of marketing initiatives such as product launches, promotions, brand campaigns and marketing plan development
  • Regional execution support in close cooperation with regional sales teams and channel partners
  • Initiate, drive and coordinate new marketing developments to strengthen the brand and overall proposition
  • Gather regional market intelligence to optimize the overall proposition
  • Exploit Valvoline portfolio performance insights to drive portfolio improvements and feed that back into the platform teams as well as regional sales teams
  • Support the Valvoline sales teams and distributor partners with market specific requests
  • Drive and support business critical Valvoline Europe Marketing projects within the territory
  • Take ownership over brand related activities
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with both internal as external relevant stakeholders
  • Manage relevant regional marketing budgets
  • Work closely with full market activation team and sales organization to develop, localize and maximize the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  • Develop an adequate portfolio management in the assigned markets

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing, Master degree is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing or sales experience in the aftermarket sector. Preferably in the lubricants Business
  • Must be fluent in English and other European languages are a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus
  • Pro-active, self-starter, independent and willing to take ownership
  • Hands-on mentality, Results driven, sales credibility
  • Comfortable to work in a fastmoving environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently 20%
  • Flexible and stress resistant
  • SAP and Business Warehouse knowledge is a plus

  • Master degree is a plus
