Job Description:

Hornetsecurity – now a dedicated business unit within Proofpoint – is seeking a motivated Regional Marketing Manager to help drive our next phase of growth in the US market. In this role, you will support regional channel marketing initiatives that strengthen our presence among MSPs, distributors, and key cybersecurity partners. This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role, available immediately, with the primary office location in Chevy Chase, MD.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support regional channel marketing initiatives that strengthen presence among MSPs, distributors, and key cybersecurity partners
  • Execute the regional marketing strategy and tactics
  • Work closely with sales team, distributors and channel partners to organize, monitor and drive effective regional campaigns
  • Organize events and participation in various trade shows
  • Coordinate various other sales and marketing campaigns
  • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan for US based on global goals and marketing objectives
  • Responsible for creation and rollout of local marketing campaigns in close alignment with central marketing department
  • Work closely with other international Marketing teams to coordinate campaigns and activities
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with team leads and external agencies and ensure the launch of new products, business development, branding, shows etc
  • Track marketing campaigns and compile reports to determine the most successful ones
  • Actively manage the marketing budget and plan for the US region

Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing and/or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing and sound knowledge in all areas of marketing
  • Significant experience working as a marketing manager in the US market and understanding of the regional business landscape
  • Hands-on channel marketing experience and successful collaboration with a wide range of US-based IT MSPs and distributors
  • Proactive and task-oriented approach
  • Team player who works well with cross functional teams and external agencies
  • Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry (ideally)
  • Interest in new technologies and curiosity about IT security topics, trends, and products
