Job Description:

The Regional Marketing Manager – South will play a key role in supporting the marketing success of marinas located across Georgian Bay and Lake Simcoe. This hands-on, creative, and strategic role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing local marketing initiatives in alignment with MLM’s overall brand direction. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Regional Marketing Manager acts as the day-to-day marketing contact for marina teams in the South region—partnering with them to bring their local and regional marketing plans to life through strong communication, creative execution, and digital expertise.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison for marinas in the South region, supporting local & regional marketing needs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with marina managers to plan and execute their annual marketing plans, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and marina brand standards
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns and community initiatives, including events, sponsorships, and promotions
  • Maintain consistent communication with marina teams to identify opportunities for engagement, visibility, and growth
  • Design and produce marketing materials such as signage, print ads, social posts, and e-blasts using graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva)
  • Manage updates to marina website pages, including content, imagery, and event listings
  • Work with the Social Media Specialist to create and schedule engaging social media content tailored to each marina’s audience and seasonal priorities
  • Support photography, videography, and storytelling initiatives that showcase the marina experience and community
  • Assist with monitoring marketing performance metrics (social, digital, and event-based) to evaluate results and share insights
  • Assist with monthly and seasonal reporting to track campaign performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in a regional or multi-location environment
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Working knowledge of website content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing platforms
  • Experience with social media and campaign development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the South region (Georgian Bay and Lake Simcoe marinas). Some weekends may be required during the summer months to cover events
