Job Description

As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Precision Oncology sales representatives, and leading all account activity for select products within the Precision Oncology portfolio within your designated region, which may include OncoDetect (MRD), OncoExTra, RiskGuard (Hereditary Cancer Testing), and Cancerguard (Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test). Your main focus will be in these areas: driving sales results, Leadership, Planning, Project Management, People Development, and Communication. You are expected to continually develop the skills of individuals within your team and ensure that your region produces sales volume at or above the assigned region sales quota.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide effective leadership and strategic direction to respective region ROL’s to drive depth within each customer, successfully sell in head-to-head environment, develop strategic business plans, be clinical experts as well as knowledgeable of competitive dynamics.
  • Establish quality working relationships with key departments within Exact Sciences to fully understand and support our mission and goals.
  • Provide feedback to Sales and Managed Care (contracting/pricing), and future product development strategies.
  • Be well informed on scientific and applicable disease states, competition, and outside influences that impact our business
  • identify emerging opportunities that benefit our business.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and applicable legal standards and requirements.
  • Participate and collaborate on various cross-functional committees
  • such as Incentive Compensation, Marketing, etc.
  • Take initiative and provides feedback when addressing issues, opportunities, and challenges that pertain to corporate goal attainment.
  • Develop meaningful and productive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within respective Region.
  • Develop, present, and execute a comprehensive region business plan.
  • Implement the plan and provide feedback, track, and make adjustments to meet revenue and budget targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or field related to the essential duties of the job
  • 6+ years of experience in medical related sales experience
  • 2+ years of sales experience in oncology
  • Proven track record in sales with demonstrated leadership ability
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner, prioritize and work towards results with a high emphasis on quality, work as part of a team, and think strategically
  • Demonstrated writing and presentation ability
  • e.g., memos, letters, reports, presentations, data analyses spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
  • Proficient computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed.
  • No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months.
  • No alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol related suspension, etc. in the last 36 months.
