Job Description

We are looking for a Regional Manager/ Director for a care provider covering the central counties in the UK, with a view to supporting a remit of care homes operationally to ensure high standards of care for elderly people. The provider has grown to owning a plethora of homes within its portfolio, which has led to manage a team of multi skilled healthcare professional to success. Our client values their commitment to giving an exemplary experience to its residents and team alike, which is reflected in its 5* awards which are recognised throughout the sector.

Job Responsibility

  • Support overall day to day operations of the remit through the organisational strategies
  • Support, mentor and guide Home Managers to drive KPI's to deliver on providing high quality care
  • Be visible across all care homes within the remit
  • Manage a team of Registered Managers
  • Act as a support system and mentor for Registered Managers
  • Drive KPI's and overall performance
  • Implement a high level of quality and compliance across the home, ensuring that the level of care exceed that expected from its residents
  • Drive performance around delivery of quality care, governance, staffing, recruitment, occupancy, promoting excellence
  • Recognise indicators of poor performance and act quickly to remedy them
  • Work systematically with Registered Managers to develop and deliver each Care Homes business plan

Requirements

  • Experience working as an Multi site, Regional Support Manager or Regional Manager within the health and social care sector, with Elderly residents
  • NVQ level 5 Management
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Exposure to and compliant with CQC
  • Passion for the care of elderly people (essential)
  • Active NMC Pin – Desired, but not essential
