Job Description:

Regional Maintenance Manager – UK & ROI. Field Based with time divided between London Office and UK/ROI hotels as required. Part of the easy family of brands. Creating a new kind of affordable hotel. Mission is to make travel more affordable with smartly designed hotels. Reports to the UK Operations Director and will sit within the Operations support team. Properties span a geographical region from Glasgow to Croydon. The role will be field based, and the expectation is that the majority of the time will be spent in the properties with the remainder worked from the London office and home. An entrepreneurial working environment with opportunities to work cross functionally and get involved in various projects. An employer who is committed to the sustainability agenda.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide support for 14 owned and leased hotels as well as advisory support for our London Head Office
  • Work in collaboration with the on-site Maintenance Technician team
  • Responsible for the up-keep of the properties
  • Manage all technical planned maintenance and corrective works at the hotels, ensuring statutory compliance is maintained

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of building services
  • Ability to manage contracts/contractors
  • Strong technical knowledge of statutory compliance and certification within the built environment
  • History of effectively managing maintenance budgets, including forecasting and inputting to the budget setting process
  • A commercial approach to business
  • Previous experience managing within multisite FM environment including managing Planned Preventative Maintenance Programmes
  • A degree or equivalent qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical discipline such as mechanical, electrical or environmental engineering
  • Full driving licence
