The Regional Lead Buyer is responsible for managing purchasing processes across MRO, Facilities, Energy, and CAPEX categories. They play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence while supporting the company's financial and strategic objectives.
Job Responsibility
Ensure compliance of demands with internal customer requests
Be in constant search for the best options of materials and services as well as suppliers to ensure that we have the best commercial and quality conditions to support the company's growth in the North America region
Carry out of purchasing processes in accordance with the company policies
Evaluate the performance of suppliers, together with internal customers through the procurement tool, according to the procurement guideline
Ensure that suppliers meet the requirements set out in the Global Procurement Policy to qualify new suppliers and ensure that current suppliers keep documentation up to date
Responsible for the improvement of the P2P processes in order to achieve the best efficiency and productivity of the buyers through the implementation of the operational tools provided by GSP and measured by the reports available in SAP
Actively participate in annual supplier audits to ensure that best production practices and quality standards are applied in line with procurement guidelines by achieving the rate reached on the audit check list
Act in a proactively and sustainably way, be aware of the environmental impacts caused by the activities and looking towards minimizing them, as well as to be committed to the company's environmental policy to ensure compliance within SIG standards
Comply and work in accordance with best manufacturing practices rules to ensure the safe packaging production for customers and consumers, as well as correctly attend all quality procedures under your responsibility to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain experience required
