Help shape high‑quality learning experiences across our child care centers in New York City/Long Island. As a Regional Instructional Coach at Bright Horizons, you will serve as a trusted education and curriculum expert, partnering with center leaders and teachers to strengthen instructional practice and support children’s development. Through coaching, modeling, and professional development, you will help bring our educational philosophy to life while ensuring consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across your assigned region. This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator who is passionate about teaching excellence, adult learning, and making a meaningful impact at scale.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with center leadership to implement developmentally appropriate, high‑quality programs aligned with Bright Horizons’ curriculum, philosophy, and inclusive, anti‑bias practices
Coach and support teachers through observation, feedback, modeling, and training to strengthen instructional practice and curriculum implementation
Use education quality measurement tools (e.g., QRIS, NAEYC) to assess implementation, guide improvement plans, and support education initiatives and accreditation efforts
Requirements:
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
CDA credential and ability to meet and maintain all state licensing and client requirements
3+ years of teaching experience, including mentoring or supervisory responsibilities
Strong knowledge of child development, emergent curriculum, and developmentally appropriate practice
Demonstrated skill in coaching, feedback, performance support, and follow‑through
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while working across multiple sites
Candidates must be willing to work in person in early education and preschool settings and travel within an assigned region as needed
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree in education, child development, or a related field
Experience with program quality assessment tools such as World Quality Expectations, QRIS, or NAEYC accreditation
Training facilitation and professional development experience
