The Regional Human Resources Representative is responsible for managing all employee and labor relations for a defined client group (branch locations/divisions), by partnering with branch management on all human resource related activities.
Job Responsibility:
Research and conduct employee investigations, in a dynamic and high-volume environment, providing solutions in line with corporate guidelines and collaborating closely with the Regional Human Resources Manager and/or Director
Collaborate with branch and regional leaders and the Center of Excellence to interpret and clarify Human Resources procedures, ensuring strict compliance with employment laws and regulations
Review employee screening results to ensure compliance with company policy
Enforce company policies, address operational challenges, and serve as a liaison between branch staff and regional HR leadership for consistent policy application
Act as a liaison with various regional HR functions (i.e., benefits, workers comp, legal, recruiting), to ensure timely flow of information and execution of branch/regional priorities
As needed, may assist with conducting employee new hire orientation and onboarding for administrative hires, large account takeovers and acquisitions
Requirements:
Must possess one or more of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field with a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible human resources experience
High school diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible human resources experience
Current state driver’s license, maintains a clean driving record, and meets minimum insurance requirements as per Company policy, and ability to safely operate a personal vehicle
Prior administrative or customer service work experience
Dynamic and focused individual with a proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Independent and self-motivated, adaptable to direction from various management levels within the assigned region, enabling the reprioritization of tasks as needed
Ability to convey concepts and ideas in a professional, coherent, and understandable manner, exercising sound independent judgment and discretion
Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, adept at maintaining confidentiality in documentation, discussions, and materials
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization while contributing as a team player
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the regional territory, including some overnight
Nice to have:
Prior human resources experience, preferably in a high-volume entry-level workforce service industry
Professional Human Resources certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, GPHR)
Experience managing the receipt, investigation, documentation, resolution, and communication of employee relations cases in a high turnover, entry-level wage, non-exempt employee environment
Familiar with state labor laws in the assigned geographic region and well-versed in federal employment laws, workers' compensation/OSHA procedures, and discrimination/harassment investigations
