Job Description

AMD is seeking a proactive Human Resources Manager to support our EMEA region, which includes 23 countries. This one-year fixed-term role focuses on advancing HR initiatives and is a strategic partner to the regional HR Director and business leaders. Reporting to the EMEA HR BP Director, the HR Manager will collaborate with HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to drive people initiatives, organizational development and HR programs across the region aligned with AMD’s strategic goals.

  • Strategic advisor to senior Business and HR leaders, providing analysis, recommendations, and scenario planning
  • Oversee milestone tracking, risk management, and cross-functional alignment across HR disciplines and business units to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives
  • Partner with HR BPs and COEs on annual processes to drive workforce planning, promotions, and compensation reviews in collaboration with HRBPs and Total Rewards
  • Act as a liaison between EMEA HR teams and global counterparts to ensure seamless collaboration, strategic alignment and knowledge flow
  • Coordinate regional execution of enterprise-wide HR initiatives, ensuring local relevance and impact
  • Provide EMEA-specific insights to shape global HR strategy and inform policy development, ensuring regional relevance and responsiveness
  • Develop and deliver high-impact briefing materials, strategic updates, and executive-level talking points for global HR forums and leadership engagements
  • Leverage HR dashboards and talent analytics to identify workforce trends and enable data-driven decision-making
  • Interpret engagement survey results and facilitate action planning with business leaders and develop executive-level reports

Requirements

  • 7+ years at HR Manager level within multinational environments across EMEA
  • 7+ years experience at driving HR strategic initiatives in countries across EMEA
  • Solid experience in employee relations across EMEA is essential
  • Trusted strategic communicator, adept at influencing and engaging with stakeholder groups across functions and geographies with clarity, confidence, and purpose
