Job Description:

The Northern Middlesex Council of Governments (NMCOG) is seeking a Regional Housing Coordinator to support local and regional housing initiatives across the Greater Lowell region. This full-time professional position will help support the Regional Housing Services Office program, working under the general direction of the Executive Director and the supervision of the Director of Housing and Economic Development.

Requirements:

  • bachelor’s degree with three-plus years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with two-plus years of experience in planning, public policy, public administration, or a related field
  • experience in housing planning, zoning, affordable housing development, community engagement, and project management
  • strong research, writing, and collaboration skills
  • knowledge of Massachusetts housing and land use regulations is highly desirable
  • must have legal authorization to work in the US
  • valid driver's license and/or ability to arrange transportation to meetings in different parts of the region
