The Regional Head Coach plays a key role and is responsible and accountable to the quality of classes and development of coach talent across all corporate center locations (DFLEX). This role will report to the Director of Corporate Center Operations and will require a close and strategic partnership with the Regional Operations Managers to ensure a consistent aligned approach to overall excellence and business performance.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain HQ CAT certification requirements, stay up to date on all HQ training, and own the plan to implement across DFLEX locations
Onboard, train, evaluate, and certify all DFLEX coaches
Ensure at least 90% of coaches maintain required HQ certifications quarterly
Deliver ongoing, balanced feedback to coaches based on observations, evaluations, certifications, survey insights, and annual reviews
Perform coach evaluations to support leveling and career progression, partnering with GMs to ensure transparency and alignment
Own the overall quality and consistency of all classes across DFLEX centers
Partner with GMs to optimize class casting and deliver a consistent brand experience
Collaborate with TAC to align training, resources, and class quality standards, using the most current HQ standards at all times
Conduct regular center visits (target 5 days/week) to support execution and observe coaching performance
Coach classes, lead by example and maintain the standard for DFLEX
Collaborate with DFLEX leadership on an aligned business strategy
Serve as the primary resource and point of contact for coaching, training, and programming questions between DFLEX and HQ
Escalate issues to leadership as needed for timely resolution
Partner with Regional Operations Managers and GMs to communicate updates, feedback, and expectations to coaches in real time
Calibrate GM and AGM coaching standards by educating them on how to conduct evaluations, audit classes, and uphold brand standards
Hold office hours for 1:1 coach development and feedback
Conduct final interviews for new coaches
Perform other duties as assigned in support of DFLEX goals
Complete 1-2 HQ Certifications per quarter as needed to stay up to date and calibrated with HQ on quality delivery
Requirements:
Thorough understanding of KidStrong coaching standards and certification processes
Minimum of 2 professional years of experience in training, coaching evaluation, and certification programs
Ability to give feedback, hold people accountable and set expectations
Excellent communicator (written and verbal) and collaborator to work in partnership with regional and center-level leadership
Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and non-traditional hours including nights and weekends
Must be willing travel throughout the DFW metroplex
