The Regional Grants Manager organizes and implements all aspects and technical portions of specific grant programs for targeted populations at State and Local level. Responsible for all grant administration including regular liaison and reporting to grant funding organization, achievement of established grant performance objectives, development of programs to achieve grant objectives and adherence to all grant policies and guidelines. This is a remote position in which the selected candidate must reside in the state of Texas. The salary for this position is $65,000.
Job Responsibility
Responsible for the direction, organization and overall implementation of grant programs within the state/territory
Ensure that grant goals and objectives as designated by MADD management and/or the grantor are achieved by providing training, guidance, ongoing support and motivation to staff and volunteers
Develop and design training content and events specifically targeted to achieve objectives of the grant assigned to the position
Responsible for all grant administration including relationship building with grantors, regular financial/programmatic reporting, and adherence to all program and/or grant policies and guidelines
Monitor/maintain tracking and data collection of programmatic results and the progress for evaluation and improvement
Report statistics tracked such as outcome measures
Train staff and volunteers on the collection of data and the web based data collection system
Organize and maintain all grant documentation in accordance with grantor and National A-133 organizational audit
Under direction of immediate supervisor, develop and enhance knowledge, skills and experience in identifying, writing, developing, implementing, and managing foundation grants
Meet and or exceed established personal fundraising goals during unrestricted time
Recruit, hire, train, develop and manage dedicated grant administrative staff in support of grant functions
Ensure that all processes, procedures and reporting tools are implemented and managed efficiently
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
2-4 years' experience working with grant administration
Strong organizational skills
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and execute in a high-volume environment
Ability to maintain workplace confidentiality and take ownership/accountability
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Basic record keeping and math skills
Ability to work both independently and with others
Ability to work on a timetable, meet deadlines
Strong work ethic
Demonstrated commitment, passion and compassion for the mission of MADD
Nice to have
Previous experience working with Victims of Crime or Department of Transportation funding
