Job Description:

As a key leader within the Business Services function, you won’t just manage numbers—you’ll manage the integrity of the international growth of our client. You will take overall day-to-day responsibility for a regional team of approximately five professionals, ensuring the financial control environment is robust, efficient, and ready for scale.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a high-performing team of circa 5 members, providing active line management, mentorship, and leadership to support their development
  • Own the Financial Control Environment, ensuring adequate controls exist to address business risks and that all Management Accounts align with Group policies
  • Lead Regional Compliance, ensuring all accounts, audits, tax, and local filing requirements are met, acting as the primary point of contact for local authorities
  • Deliver MI Reporting, ensuring the accuracy of monthly management accounts and collaborating with Business Partnering to provide insightful commentary on financial statements and KPIs
  • Oversee Working Capital & Treasury, taking responsibility for local cashflow forecasting and leading working capital meetings to resolve debt collection and invoicing issues
  • Drive M&A Integration, assisting with the onboarding of new entities, aligning their accounting systems, policies, and banking structures with the Group
  • Support Group Audit, managing the delivery of 'Prepared By Client' (PBC) files and managing relationships with external auditors and their tax advisors

Requirements:

  • Professionally qualified accountant with strong IFRS knowledge
  • Strong experience in a senior finance control role within a dynamic, international business environment
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams with a focus on overall team achievement
  • Fluent English communication
  • Extensive practical experience with IFRS
  • Excellent communicator who can establish credibility with senior management and influence positive change
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement
