Job Description

The Regional Controller will act as a strategic (finance) partner to Regional VPs across various regions, including Latin America, Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe, to drive growth and profitability.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making processes and ensure alignment with Teoxane's strategy through financial KPIs
  • Optimize sales and marketing investments by conducting Return on Investments (ROI) evaluations
  • Assist in negotiating distribution agreements, including setting sales targets, growth objectives, and financial terms
  • Facilitate discussions on the order-to-cash payment cycle and offer financial guidance in customer negotiations
  • Oversee the proper execution of distribution contracts and closely monitor distributor performance
  • Implement and maintain pricing strategy initiatives to maximize profitability
  • Lead finance planning processes including budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and actuals, ensuring reporting deadlines are met
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews analyzing growth, market shares, and profitability, and comparing against previous years, budget, and benchmarks
  • Ensure efficient financing of affiliates in the regions and support local controllers in optimizing working capital
  • Manage the execution of transfer pricing strategies to align with group objectives
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to analyze stock levels, demand, and sales forecasts
  • Enforce compliance with Teoxane's commercial best practices and internal control rules
  • Implement compliance tools to verify distributor adherence to policies and propose financing solutions to trade with distributors and secure receivables
  • Serve as a strong interface between Finance and Commercial teams to foster transparency and collaboration
  • Undertake any special missions assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master in Finance or Controlling
  • 7 years of experience in Finance and Sales controlling, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial and sales processes
  • Excellent command of Excel, Tagetik a plus
  • Excellent analytical abilities, capable of effectively interpreting complex data and deriving actionable insights
  • Ability in transitioning seamlessly between high-level strategic thinking and granular detail-oriented tasks
  • Capacity to evaluate the operational impacts of business decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Track record of implementing internal control processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration and clear articulation of financial insights
  • Adaptability and flexibility to navigate dynamic business environments and accommodate evolving priorities
  • Fluency in English. French a plus
