The Regional Finance Director, M&A Integration (APAC) will be a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial operations across the Asia Pacific region, with a primary focus on the successful financial integration of newly acquired entities. This role serves as the key interface between the regional teams and European Headquarters, driving change management, harmonizing financial processes, and ensuring regional compliance and reporting standards are aligned with global corporate strategy and policies.
Job Responsibility:
Lead Post-Acquisition Integration
Drive and manage the end-to-end financial integration roadmap for all M&A activities in the APAC region
Oversee the migration and integration of acquired entities' financial systems into the global standardized platform
Standardize regional financial policies, accounting processes, internal controls, and chart of accounts
Provide financial expertise and support during the pre-acquisition due diligence phase
Act as a champion for organizational and process change within the regional finance function
Manage the integration and restructuring of finance teams in acquired businesses
Identify and implement best-practice financial processes and controls
Ensure timely and accurate regional financial reporting
Oversee the regional budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles
Own the regional financial control environment and manage regional tax, audit, and legal compliance
Manage the relationship between the APAC regional leadership team, local finance teams, and European HQ
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is mandatory
Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience
At least 5 years in a regional Finance Director or Head of Finance role within a multinational corporation (MNC)
Proven track record of managing and executing M&A financial integration, change management, and process harmonization projects
Expert-level knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and strong exposure to a complex regulatory environment
Extensive experience reporting to an overseas (preferably European or North American) Head Office
Proficiency with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and financial consolidation/reporting tools
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capacity
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (written and verbal English is mandatory)
