At Cloudera, we empower people to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights. With as much data under management as the hyperscalers, we're the preferred data partner for the top companies in almost every industry. Powered by the relentless innovation of the open source community, Cloudera advances digital transformation for the world’s largest enterprises. This role is responsible for overseeing Facility Maintenance (FM) and Security & Safety (S&S) operations across our regional offices. You will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, effective vendor management, and strict adherence to global and local safety and security standards. • Direct Security & Safety (S&S) Operations: Administer badge access systems (S2/CCTV), manage occupancy reporting, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with global security standards
  • Lead Safety Programs: Organize safety training, conduct emergency drills, manage volunteer safety teams, and coordinate ergonomic assessments across regional offices
  • Support Executive Events: Partner with Workplace and IT teams to provide facilities and security support for Board of Directors sessions and high-profile onsite meetings
  • Manage Financials & Projects: Oversee regional FM budgets and procurement via Coupa, while contributing to office upgrades, relocations, and new site setups
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain detailed incident logs, lead investigations, and support audits from InfoSec, HR, Legal, and Sales

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Facilities, Security, or Security Systems, ideally within a fast-paced technology environment
  • Strong Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Google Suite, and experience managing internal ticketing systems like Jira or ServiceNow
  • Hands-on Operational Skills: Deep knowledge of industry standards and federal/local regulatory requirements for workplace safety
  • Financial & Project Acumen: Strong budget management skills (P&L/Cash Flow) and experience with organization-wide program implementation
  • Exceptional Communication: An assertive yet professional style that holds vendors accountable while building trust with internal stakeholders
  • Global Flexibility: Ability to support global operations across time zones and travel internationally (Americas, EMEA, APAC) as needed

Nice to have:

  • Experience with S2 Security Systems or large-scale CCTV management
  • Background in managing complex, matrixed organizations with a "do whatever it takes" customer service mindset
  • Experience with Coupa or similar procurement platforms
What we offer:
