As a Regional Environmental Compliance Program Manager, you will be supporting our data centre sites on the full range of regulatory environmental requirements, including European, National, and local regulations with emphasis on air, water, waste management and energy efficiency with a fundamental understanding of environmental and/or energy management systems (EEMS) aligned to ISO14001 and ISO50001. You will identify environmental risks and aspects and ensure Microsoft data centres remain in full compliance, communicate these requirements to all stakeholders and senior management, and provide training online and/or in person on compliance and our environmental management systems. This opportunity will allow you to actively participate in a dynamic, challenging, and exciting environment. You will be working independently in-region and will represent Microsoft to our external and internal customers. This position requires you to work on location, in one of our data centers in the Europe, Middle East or Africa (EMEA) region, with occasional travel to other locations. Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a Regional Environmental Compliance Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.
