As an Regional Educator RN for Med Surg, you will lead the development and delivery of nursing and clinical education programs across our organization, supporting both foundational and advanced practice. Your role is vital in promoting professional growth and ensuring high care standards.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the development and delivery of nursing and clinical education programs
Plan, conduct, and evaluate diverse educational initiatives, orientations, and trainings for clinical staff
Collaborate with leadership and regional teams to enhance patient care quality and cost-effectiveness
Conducts needs analyses to identify immediate/future education needs and develops education/training programs
Confers with service lines and department management to identify immediate and future development requirements
May create, write, update, and/or modify written and multimedia education modules, programs, curriculum, course outlines, and lesson plans
Incorporates delivery of care and clinical techniques appropriately to address special population needs in educational offerings
Conducts and evaluates education/training programs/activities provided to ensure they are consistent with meet identified learning needs
Implements programs in accordance with city, county, state, federal, and The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements where applicable
Requirements:
Bachelors Of Nursing
three years of RN nursing work experience in Med Surg
Active Washington State Registered Nurse License
Basic Life Support - CPR
Nice to have:
Masters Other Related Field
Previous work experience in the education/training of healthcare providers
