Job Description:

We are seeking a Head of EMEA People Business Partner to join our Global People Team and lead the people strategy for the EMEA region, including the UK, Switzerland, Dubai plus any new EMEA office locations. This leader will play a critical role in aligning global talent strategy with regional business priorities while providing exceptional partnership to local leaders across R&D, Go-To-Market, and G&A functions. EMEA is a high-priority growth region for Addepar, and this role will require a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll serve as the most senior People Team member in the region, responsible for enabling business growth, scaling the support model, and shaping employee experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Regional Strategy Execution: Act as the primary advisor to EMEA leaders. Partner with Global PBPs to localize workforce plans and operationalize global org designs, ensuring headcount growth is feasible within local markets
  • Regional Governance & Policy: Act as the primary architect for EMEA-specific policies (benefits, handbooks, and compliance), reducing dependency on US-centric processes while maintaining global brand alignment
  • HR Harmonization: Lead the alignment of practices across the UK, Poland, Switzerland, and Dubai to ensure operational efficiency and a consistent employee experience
  • Matrix Leadership & Collaboration: Provide dotted-line leadership to regional TA, Talent Development, and People Operations teams. Partner with Global Centers of Excellence to ensure programs (Comp, Performance Management) are executed in-region effectively
  • Change Management & Transformation: Lead complex regional efforts, such as site expansions or org redesigns, with a thoughtful, employee-centric approach
  • Culture & Engagement: Drive localized engagement strategies and action planning to sustain a values-aligned culture across diverse EMEA offices
  • Compliance & Employee Relations: Ensure all practices meet local labor laws (including Works Council/Union considerations) and manage regional ER issues in partnership with Legal

Requirements:

  • An experienced People Business Partner ideally with prior experience leading people strategy in the EMEA region
  • Strong background supporting or operating within a U.S.-headquartered company, with comfort navigating global decision-making, time zones, and cultural alignment
  • Skilled in coaching, organizational design, performance and talent development, change management, workforce planning, and employee relations
  • Able to flex between strategic work and hands-on execution, particularly in fast-scaling or lean environments
  • A collaborative builder with strong relationship skills, excellent judgment, and a people-first mindset
  • Adept at using data and insights to shape talent decisions and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experienced in supporting geographically distributed teams and operating with a high degree of agility and independence
  • A confident, clear communicator with excellent listening and influencing skills across diverse audiences and cultures
  • A high-EQ matrix leader capable of driving results through influence rather than just direct authority
  • Deep knowledge of European labor relations, including experience navigating Works Councils, trade unions, or localized employee representative bodies
  • Applicants must have, and maintain, the right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
