Job Responsibility
Leads sales and marketing efforts for the region including community sales teams’ productivity and census building
planning, reporting, goal setting, sales process optimization, sales training, marketing efforts, CRM training, sales program implementation, sales compensation administration
partners with operational team and community leadership in recruiting, selection and onboarding of sales talent
increasing effectiveness and performance of the sales team
works closely with community Executive Directors, Regional Vice President of Operations, and corporate team members
reports on activities and results to regional operations leaders and Division President weekly
coaches, trains, and assists with management of Director of Sales, Coordinators and associated sales Coaches
motivates sales staff
interviews and screens DOS candidates
manages mystery shopping and competitive shopping program
provides Manager on Duty sales training
maintains competition reports
supports design and development of educational modules
establishes and maintains compensation plans
overall responsibility of achieving sales move-in and occupancy budgeted plan
maintains knowledge of daily census reporting
develops sales strategies
demonstrates proficiency in CRM system
listens to recorded inbound sales calls
performs community site visit audits
visits communities in region regularly
assists sales team with implementation of sales and marketing programs
ensures quarterly competitive analysis plans are up to date
develops marketing strategies
assures accuracy in sales reports
educates DOSs and Coordinators on standards
ensures Sales Coordinator supports DOS efficiently
ensures compliance with marketing standards
assists in development of annual community marketing budgets
reviews monthly marketing financials
oversees sales and marketing quarterly planning process
analyzes and reports on trends
develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategy
maintains supplies of collateral materials
ensures wise use of marketing dollars
performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations/Communications, Marketing or related field
Five years selling in a dynamic environment
senior living experience a plus
at least three years’ experience in multi-community/regional sales manager role with supervisory experience
