ProNet Group, Inc., an established forensic engineering consulting firm specializing in technical investigations of accidents and failures for the insurance and legal industries throughout the U.S., is seeking a Regional Director of Business Development. This individual will report directly to the Senior Vice President and will have bottom line responsibility for all sales and marketing aspects of the business throughout their territory. This position requires Sales Hunter and Account Manager skills. Specific duties will include development and maintenance of direct sales routes in order to consistently and regularly develop business relationships with insurance adjusters, insurance claims centers, attorneys, and other centers of influence within the assigned territory and target accounts. This position will focus on developing business, rapport, and trust with existing clients, as well as developing new business in conjunction with the Senior Vice President. Chosen candidate must have ability to meet and associate with current and potential clients; must attend client/prospect business related networking events, industry social functions and trade shows; and, organize Continuing Education seminars.

Job Responsibility

  • Market our forensic services and expand current business
  • Schedule and conduct 5-10 off-site prospective client appointments weekly to penetrate the market and increase market share
  • Conduct daily client and prospect communications
  • Meet and exceed monthly forecast goals
  • Coordinate public relations efforts with professional associations and organizations to maintain and increase visibility in the regional marketplace
  • Coordinate and plan corporate marketing events and Continuing Education seminars with clients and associations
  • Liaison between operations group/expert consultants and clients to resolve issues/concerns, coordinate meetings, inspections, etc.
  • Communicate with management and operations staff the results of sales efforts and strategies
  • Coordinate the regional marketing strategies in accordance with the national sales plan
  • Generate new business leads through networking, attending trade shows, researching and using internet tools

Requirements

  • Excellent customer services and friendly communication skills
  • Proven sales track record
  • Responsible, confident, competitive, self-motivated, and have verifiable excellent work ethic and a stable employment history
  • Must be able to cold call customers and chase up business
  • Must be team spirited and have the ability to collaborate well with customers and staff
  • Ability to prioritize and problem solve
  • Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills ability to execute multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Organizational skills are critical
  • Must have experience and skill utilizing CRM programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Management, or similar is required
  • May substitute a bachelor's degree for Industry related marketing or sales experience having 10+ years
  • 10+ years professional sales / marketing / B2B experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Must have a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

Nice to have

  • Claims Industry or Disaster Restoration field would be helpful but not necessary
  • Previous experience marketing to insurance claims professionals a plus
  • or, experience as a property claims adjuster with a marketing background, preferred
