The Regional Coverage Account Executive, East will play a crucial role in introducing large and complex school districts in the eastern US to MagicSchool, acting as a utility player to offer coverage and support to the broader sales team where required. By effectively developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, the AE will ensure that our platform is procured to alleviate teacher burnout and enhance student learning. This role requires a proactive approach to tailoring our offerings, working both internally and with clients, to secure MagicSchool as the solution of choice amidst competitive pressures.
Job Responsibility:
Achieve Quota: Close deals and ensure robust pipeline development to achieve booking targets
Establish Presence: Position MagicSchool as the preferred solution for large K-12 school districts
Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with superintendent cabinet members to drive consensus and procurement decisions
Expand Reach: Leverage successes in one district to facilitate conversations and sales with neighboring districts
Navigate Processes: Manage complex procurement, evaluation, and negotiation processes, including legal, RFPs, pilots, and POCs
Collaborate Internally: Work with product, finance, success, marketing, and other teams to customize our offerings to meet the needs of large districts

Experience with state, strategic, and enterprise business in EdTech (not mid-market)
Deep connections within the region, specifically experienced in the East US markets
Proven experience selling across diverse territories, bringing a connection and understanding of varied regional procurement environments
