Job Description:

The Regional Controller will use accounting and economic skills to evaluate operating data, detect business trends and prepare financial statements that comply with industry practices. The ideal candidate will also oversee all financial transactions in reference to the plants operating goals and budget. This Regional Controller should have a strong analytical background and have had experience overseeing various accounting and finance departments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and reports, prepared in accordance with US GAAP
  • Implementing and ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Handling the monthly close process to meet reporting deadlines and quarterly requirements
  • Leading staff accountants to provide corporate accounting services to regional VPs
  • Preparing required information for annual audits with the approved external auditors
  • Assisting with supporting documentation for all direct and indirect tax filings pertaining to the region
  • Overseeing the preparation of reconciliations for all Balance Sheet accounts with supporting documentation
  • Assisting with the update of policies and procedures, ensuring adequate documentation and process flows for future scalability

Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
  • 8+ years of accounting & finance w/ supervisory experience
  • Ability to handle Accounting Functions
  • Proficiency in Auditing
  • Proficient in using Sage Intacct
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP
